1I RESOLUTION NO. 1009
2 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION
31 PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.
4 1 . That the Council of the City of San Jacinto , for the reasons herein-
5 rafter mentioned, proposes to initiate on its own motion, as soon as it can legal
6 ly do so , proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory here
7 � inafter described as uninhabited territory under provisions of the Annexation of
8 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to 35325 , in
( elusive, of the Government Code of the State of California.
10 2. That the Council ' s reasons for proposing to initiate said annexation
11 proceedings are as follows : The annexation of the hereinafter described terri-
12 tory will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper control
13 of street layout, drainage, sanitary sewer design and insure proper use of the
14 land in conformity with the overall zoning plan of the City.
15 3. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is hereby iden

16 � tified as "Annexation No. 18" and consists of that real property described on
i
171 "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.

18 4. That the Planning Director of the City of San Jacinto is hereby direct
19 fed to file with the Boundary Commission of the Local Agency Formation Commission
20 f the County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to initiate-pro-
21 ceedings to annex the territory described in "Exhibit A" , attached hereto, to
22 the City of San Jacinto and to request approval of the Local Agency Formation
23 Commission as provided for in Section 35002 of the Government Code.
24 ADOPTED this 4th day of December 1973 by the following vote:

3 That portion of Farm Lots 103 and 105 of the Lands of the San Jacinto Land
4 Association as shown by map on file in Book 8, Page 347 of Maps , San Diego Coun-
5 ty Records , described as follows:
6 Beginning at a point on the northeasterly line of Farm Lot 42, as sh wn on
7 said map, 386.60 feet southeasterly from the north corner of said Farm Lot 42;
8 thence north 45 deg. east 933.37 feet to a point on the east line of said Farm
9 Lot 105, thence south 1320 feet on the east lines of said Farm Lots 105 and 103
10 to the south corner of said Farm Lot 103; thence northwesterly 933.37 feet on
11 the line between Farm Lots 103 , 44 and 42 , as shown on said map to the pointof
12 beginning , containing approximately ten (10) acres net.
