1 RESOLUTION NO. 1008
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, A
CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, ORDERING VACATION OF THE ALLEY BETWEEN
3 SAN JACINTO AND PICO AVENUES PERPENDICULAR TO SEVENTH STREET
4 The matter of vacation and abandonment of an alley between San Jacinto and
S �� Pico Avenues and perpendicular to Seventh Street inthe City of San Jacinto, be-
5 the real property hereinafter described, having been heretofore proposed;by
the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, by its Resolution No. 1005 adopted
6 November 6, 1973, to which reference is hereby made;
7 And it appearing that said Resolution No. 1005 has been published in the
manner prescribed by law, and an affidavit of said publication having been duly
8 filed with the records of the City Clerk of the said City;
9 And it further appearing that proper notices have been duly, posted, as re-
quired by law, along the boundary lines of the aforesaid portion and a declara-
10 tion of said posting having been duly filed in be records of the City Clerk of
11 said city;
And a public hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the pro
12 posed vacation and abandonmentsof said easements having been set for 7:30 p.m.
on December 4, 1973 at the Council Chambers , 201 E. Main Street, City of San
13 Jacinto, California;
14 And said public hearing having been duly called and held at the afore-men-
tioned ,said time and place;
15 And it appearing that from all the evidence submitted that it, is desired
and appropriate that the easements hereinafter described be vacated as mentioned
16 in said Resolution No. 1005, be vacated except for one foot strips on the west
and east sides of the land described in " Resolution No. 1005, it being determin-
17 ed the alley is only sixteen (16) feet in width , not eighteen feet in width as
originally referred to in Resolution No. 1005.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the easements for
alleys and -rights-of-way hereafter described, be and are hereby vacated and aban-
doned, and in accordance there to
20 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:
21 1 . That the public rights-of-way and easements for alley and public rights-
of-way in said real property hereinafter described be and are hereby vacated and
22 abandoned pursuant to the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 upon ,any
exceptions and conditions as herein provided.

2. The real property over and upon which the said easements are hereby-
24 vacated and abandoned is described as follows :
25 In the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, State of California, de-
scribed as follows :

Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Pico Avenue with
27 the northerly line of Seventh Street; thence easterly along the
northerly line of Seventh Street 163 feet to the true point of be-
28 ginning; thence northerly parallel withthe centerline of Pico Ave-
nue 280 feet; thence easterly, parallel with the northerly line of
29 Seventh Street, 16 feet; thence southerly, parallel with the center-
line of Pico Avenue, 280 feet; thence westerly along the northerly
30 line of Seventh Street 16 feet to the true point of beginning, all
31 within J. M. Clark's Subdivision to the Town of San Jacinto per Maps ,
Book 10 , Page 4Fg , Records of San Diego County.
32 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and

1 shall cause a certified copy hereof to be recorded in the Office of the County
2 ) Recorder of the County of Riverside.
4_ The City Clerk is requested to cause conformed copies of the recorded
3 copy of this resolution to be mailed to the owners of the adjacent parcels as
jshown by the last equalized assessment role.
