2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, REQUEST-
3 ING TRANSFER OF PART OF LOCAL TRANSPORTATION FUND
TO WESTERN RIVERSIDE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AGENCY.
4 WHEREAS,

A. The City of San Jacinto is entitled to a portion of the Local Trans-
6 portation Fund, hereafter called the Fund , under the Local Transportation Devel-
opment Act of 1971 , hereafter called the Act;

B. Up to three percent of annual revenues under the Act is expected to
8 be expended for the conduct of transportation planning as a high priority item;
9 C. The County of Riverside, State of California, has established the
Western Riverside County Transportation Agency of which the City of San Jacinto
10 is a member;
11 D. The City of San Jacinto, therefore, desires approval of the use of one
percent of its entitlement of the Fund in cooperation with the contribution of
12 other cities to support the administrative costs of Western Riverside County
Transportation Agency;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
14 Jacinto sitting in regular session this 9th day of March 1976 that approval of
the Southern California Association of Governments is hereby requested for the
15 expenditure of one percent of the current annual revenues under the Local Trans-
portation Act of 1971 by payment to the Western Riverside County Transportation
16 Agency for use in meeting the administrative costs of the agency in accordance
with the joint powers agreement.
