2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
SUPPORTING THE URGENT NEED TO ELIMINATE THE EXISTING GRADE
3 CROSSING OF BEAUMONT AVENUE BY THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
PACIFIC COMPANY TRACKS.

WHEREAS, there exists an urgent need to eliminate the existing grade
6
crossing of Beaumont Avenue by the Southern Pacific Company tracks (B562.4)
7
due to the potential hazard and serious inconvenience and delay to the
8
motoring public.

10 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
11 San Jacinto that the California State Department of Transportation and
12 Mr. Jack Peddy, District Director of San Bernardino Office, be urged to
13 aggressively pursue the design of this grade separation project so it can
14 be funded and constructed as soon as possible.

THE CITY CLERK is instructed to mail a copy of this resolution to
16
the District Department of Transportation.
