2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON SAN JACINTO, BEING
3 ROUTE 79, BETWEEN SEVENTH STREET AND 250 FEET NORTH OF
ESPLANADE

5 THIS RESOLUTION is adopted with reference to the following facts :
6 A. The Traffic Engineer for the Department of Transportation, State
of California, has requested after study of traffic safety aspects that the
7 City of San Jacinto together with the County of Riverside prohibit parking
on the part of State Highway 79 hereafter described in the City of San
8 Jacinto to match a requested prohibition of parking on the balance of the
same highway between the cities of San Jacinto and Hemet.

B. The council accepts those findings and recommendations.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
11 San Jacinto, in regular session, this 2nd day of September 1975 as follows:
12 1 . The council finds the foregoing facts to be true.
13 2. It is hereby directed that parking shall be prohibited on: Along
the west side of Route 79 (San Jacinto Avenue) between a point 250
14 feet north of the centerline of Esplanade Avenue northerly to a
point 24 feet south of the south curbline of Seventh Street and
15 along the east side of Route 79 from the north curbline of Shaver
Street northerly to a point 48 feet south of the south curbline
16 of Seventh Street.
17 3. The State Traffic Engineer shall cause the appropriate marking to
be placed at said locations and this resolution shall become effect-
18 ive upon the placement of such marking.
19 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and transmit a copy hereof to the Division of Highways for approval
20 pursuant to the provisions of Section 21104 of the Vehicle Code.
21 ADOPTED THE 2nd day of September, 1975, and signed this 2nd day of
September, 1975.
