CITY OF SAN JACINTO, A CALIFOI;NIA MUNI-
3 CIPALITY APPOINTING THE CITY`SMANAGER AS

THE AGENT FOR APPLYING FOR DISASTER RE-
4 LIEF LOANS AND GRANTS BY RF SON OF FLOOD-
ING ON AND AFTER- FEBRUARY� 21, 1980.

This Resolution is adopted wit reference to the following
6 facts :

8 A. Extraordinary flooding ofA�February 21,, 1980 and February 22 ,
1980 to substantial portion of the area within the limits of the
9 City of San Jacinto caused urge loss and damage to public = im-
provements including streets , curbs, gutters , sewerage, water
10 lines , pumps, wells and valves.
11 B. Programs of the Unit States Government and State of
California. require the appointment of air officer of this City to
_12 apply for grants and loans under such programs.
13 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RE50LVED by the 'City Council of the City of
San Jacinto sitting it special session the- 25th. day of February,
14 1980 as follows :

15 1. The foregoing facts are determined to be true.
16 2. The City ],Manager, Thomas Hemphill, is appointed the agent
for-the City of San Jacinto to apply for grants , loans ,
17 and other disaster relief from the State of California
and the ,h,7nited States Government by reason of said
18 flooding: (PL 93-288)
