A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT A- MAJORITY PROTEST
2 WAS NOT MADE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED. "ANNEXATION NO.31"
3 TO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO'; in regular
5 session duly held this 20th day of December 1979:
1 _ That, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Organization
6 Act of 1977, a public hearing was duly held before this Council on this
7 date at 7: 30 ,p.m. after notice thereof was duly published thereof as
required by law by one,publication of Resolution No. 1270 in the San
8 Jacinto Valley Register and written notice of said, hearing was 'duly 'mailed
to each°owner-of land in the territory hereinafter described as required
g by the provisions of Section 35223 of the Government Code, State of
California.
10 2. Said public hearing was closed prior to the adoption of this
11 resolution.
3. That the Council finds` that the owners of one-half of the value
l` of the territory hereinafter described did not file written protests ,prior
13 to the final adjournment of the said public hearing to the proposed
annexation of uninhabited territory designated "ANNEXATION NO. `31" ,
1 i and the:Council determines pursuantto the provisions of Sections 35227
' and 35229 of the Government:Code, State of California, that a majority
15 i, protest to said proposed annexation has not, been made.
1611 4 . The territory of the proposed annexation, designated ANNEXATION
N0. 31 " is described as all that certain territory situated in the County
; ;1 of Riverside, State of California , more particularly described ' n
"Exhibit A" which is "&,ttached hereto and made a part hereof.

Beginning ;at the most Northerly corner of Annexation
No. 13 to the City of San Jacinto, said corner being also
a point on the centerline of De Anza Drive, formerly 'South
Central Avenue,'

angle point ,in said North line;
Thence continuing along said North line West a distance
of 1, 055. 41 feet to the Northwest corner of said Annexation
No_ 13 said corner being also a point on the East line :of
