HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1274 1 RESOLUTION NO. 1274 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO ESTABLISHING ANGLE PARKING 4 ON PORTIONS OF MAIN STREET FOR,- ONE YEAR 5 6 THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING FACTS : 7 A. Proposal to eliminate angle parking on certain portions 8 of Main Street has been objected to ;on the basis of hardship. 9 B. Representation has been made by San Jacinto Parking Lot Association that it will undertake a- study for means to make 10 additional parking available if an, extension of angle parking is granted. 11 ! NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the 12 City of San Jacinto sitting in regular adjourned session the 23rd 'day of October, 1979 as follows: 13 14 1. Council finds the, foregoing to be true. 15 2 . City Council authorized and directs the angle parking on Main Street between the intersection of San Jacinto and Jordan Streets for a period from the present time until and expiring 16 , October 31, 1980 . Thereafter, parallel parking is established 17 in said area. 3 . This parking is established by the authority of Section 18 ( 22503 of the Vehicle Code and Section 41 of Ordinance No. 358. 19 4. The Chief of Police, as Traffic Control Officer of this 20 city, shall 'cause appropriate angle parking, marking to be placed thereat. ?1 MOVED, and ADOPTED and SIGNED the 23rd day of October 1979. 22 23 ATTEST:, f n A.H.
