_2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNI`A MUNICIPALITY, CALLING
3 FOR A CONTRACT WITH THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY: PATROL
FOR ABANDONED VEHICLEABATEMENT PARTICIPATION
4 WHEREAS, the California Vehicle Code Sections 9250.7 and 22710 provide for
5 an Abandoned Vehicle Trust Fund and a method of disbursement of funds to local
6 agencies that participate in the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program, and
7 WHEREAS, the City of,San Jacinto, California, desires to participate in the
a � Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program and share in the monies in said Abandoned

Vehicle Trust Fund.
10 I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Jacinto participate in
11 the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program from July 1 , 1979, through June 30, 1980.
12 Ij AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to
13 i execute the contract with the Department of California Highway Patrol for parti-
14 cipation in said Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program.=
15 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 21st day of August 1979 by the following vote
16 AYES: Councilmen Stevens, Ver Plank and Hazeltine.
17 NOES: None
18 ABSENT: Councilmen Brooks and Wilson
