-1 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION
2 PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.
3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:
4 Section 1 . That the Council of the City of San Jacinto, for reasons
5 hereinafter mentioned , proposes to initiate on its own motion , as soon as it
6 can legally do so, proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the
7 territory hereinafter described , as uninhabited territory under provisions of
8 the Municipal Organization Act of 1977.
9 Section 2. That the Council ' s reasons for proposing to initiate
10 said annexation proceedings are as follows; The annexation of the hereinafter-
11 described territory will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide
12 � proper control of street layout, drainage, sanitary sewer design and insure
13 proper use of the land in conformity with the overall zoning plan of the City.
14 i Section 3. That the territory which the Council : proposes to annex
15 is hereby identified as "Annexation No. 32 " and consists of all that real
16 property described on "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by
17 reference.
18 Section 4. That the Director of Community Development of the City
19 of San Jacinto is hereby directed to file with the Boundary Commission 'of the
20 Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Riverside, State of Califon-
21 nia, this proposal to initiate proceedings to annex the territory described in
22ii "Exhibit A" attached hereto , to the City of San Jacinto and to request approval
23 of the Local 'Agency Formation Commission as provided for in Section 35002 of
24 the Government Code.
25 ADOPTED this 17th day of July-1979.
