2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT OF
3 CITY MONIES IN LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUNDS
4 WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 730 of the Statutes of 1976 Section 16429.1
5 was added to the California Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment
6 Fund in the State Treasury for the deposit of money of a local agency for pur
7 ) poses of investment by the State Treasurer; and
g WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto does hereby find that
g the deposit and withdrawal of money in the Local Agency Investment Fund in ac-
10 cordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the
11 purposes of investment as stated therein as in the best interests of the City of
12 San Jacinto.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
14 Jacinto does hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of City monies in the
15 Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the pro
16 visions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purpose ofinvestment

17 as stated therein.
18 ( BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following City officials or their success-
19 ors in office shall be authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies
20 in the Local Agency Investment Fund: j

David L. Ver Plank, Mayor Pro Tem A. H. Wallace, City Clerk
22 Willene Robinson, Treasurer Helen Sherman, Deputy` City' Clerk
23 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
