2 A RESQLUTION OF THE CITY' COUNCIL, OF THE CITY'
OFSAN JACINTO, A, CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY,
3 DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON
ALLEY EASEMENT SITUATED ABOUT 136 FEET SOUTH OF
4 EAST MAID! STREET BETWEEN HEWITT AND VERNON STREETS
5 WHEREAS, it is desirable and appropriate that certain alley located about
6 136 feet south of east Main Street, between Hewitt and Vernon Streets. in the
r7 City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside,- State pf California, be vacated and
8 abandoned for the reason that said alley is unnecessary for present prospective
9 ,public right-of-way for alley purposes.
10 NOW, ,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacin-
to sitting in regular session on the 6th day of March 1979 as follows :

12 �) 1 . That it hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon all rights-
13 of-way and easements for public use for alley purposes that area about 136 feet
14 south of East Main Street between-Hewitt and Vernon Streets', but reserving ease-
,5 ments for_publ,ic- utilities including those now existing in place including sewer,
15 water, gas, electricity, telephone and cable television.
17 2. That the City Council of the City of ;San Jacinto hereby determines that
18 public convenience and necessity require the abandonment of said public right-of-
19 way.'
2 3. Seven thirty (7:30) p.m. on the 3rd ,day of April 1979 at the Council
21 Chambers, 209 E. Main Street, San Jacinto; California is hereby set as the time
22 and place for the public hearing of all persons interested in or ob.jectina to the
23 proposed vacation and abandonment.
24 4. The map, marked Exhibit A, dated March 6, 1979, and upon which the real
25 property subject to the easements proposed to be vacated has been designated by
26 an ;arrow and the letters AV-1-79 on said map, on file in the office of the City
27 Clerk, may be reviewed for the particulars of the proposed vacation and abandonment."
28 5. The City Clerk is instructed to certify to the adoption of this 'resol u-
29 tion and to cause the same to be,published one time in the Valley Register, a
30 newspaper printed and published in the County of Riverside, not less than fifteen
31 days prior to the hearing fixed herein.
32 6. The Superintendent of Public Works is directed to cause notice of this

1 intended vacation and abandonment to be posted conspicuously along said portions
2 of said easement not less than in three places and not less than three hundred
3 (300) feet apart at least 15 days prior to the date of the hearing fixed herein.
4 7, The City Council of the City of San Jacinto declares that by the a'don-
5 tion of this resolution its intention to Proceed pursuant to the provisions of
6 the Street Abandonment Act of 1941 commencing at Section 8300 of the Streets and
7 Highways Code,
8 8. The said City Council hereby finds and determines that no street element
g of the general plan adopted by this City requires nor is in conflict with the
10 proposal to abandon the easements proposed to be vacated and abandoned herein
11 and that the planning Commission of this city has reported.the same finding to
12 the City Council .
13 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of :March 1979
