2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO , A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, ESTABLISHING
3 "CLEAN UP WEEK" FROM APRIL 16 THROUGH APRIL 21 , 1979.
4 THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING FACTS:
5 WHEREAS , the first performance of the annual Ramona Pageant is April 28,
1979; and

WHEREAS, each year the Ramona Pageant attracts thousands of visitors to San
7 Jacinto; and
8 WHEREAS, these visitors frequent local stores , restaurants, hotels and
other establishments ; and

WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce is leading a voluntary clean
10 up program to encourage property owners and citizens to help present our com-
munity in the best possible light; and
11 WHEREAS, on the Friday and Saturdav precedinq the Ramona Paaeant, April 20
12 and April 21 , 1979, the Chamber of Commerce, Inland Disposal , Incorporated and
the City of San Jacinto will have large refuse containers available at prominent
13 locations for citizens to discard over-sized refuse.
14 NOW, THEREFORE , IT IS RESOLVED that the week of April 16 through April 21 ,
1979, be established as "Clean-Up Week".
15 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 6th day of March 1979.
