2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, ESTABLISHING
3 RATES FOR THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND RUBBISH
COLLECTED WITHIN OR BY THE SAID CITY OF SAN JACINTO
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, DOES
5 HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 1 . This resolution supersedes Resolution No. 1187 and 1238, adopted 11-22-
77-and 10-17-78, and all other prior resolutions consistent herewith.

2. For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish collected',as provided in
g Article 11 of the Code of the City of San Jacinto, there shall be assessed and
charged:

(a) For the owner or occupant of residences: .$3. 30 per month;
10 (b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings each having kit-
chen facilities: $3.30 per month for the first unit and '$2.'80 per month -for
11 each additional unit regardless .whether- occupied or, not.
(c) For the owner or operator of any commercial establishment, except as set
12 forth in subparagraph (d) below: The rate of T. 25 per cubic yard of volume of
the rubbish and trash containers maintained at each establishment; provided how
13 ever, that in no event shall the fee be lessthan S4. 30 per .month. The minimum
charge for bin service shall be $12.00.
14 (d) Mobilehome parks having refuse picked up at each space but the fees are
billed to and paid by the operator shall be charged on the same basis as apart-
15' ment houses, subparagraph (b)" above. All spaces shall be charged whether oc-
cupied or not. _ `Other mobilehome parks shall be charged the commercial rate if
16 refuse is collected at central locations or the residential rates of individual
collections and individual billing and payment.
' (e) The City Council may;provide that rubbish not included within the defi-
17 nition of either "garbage " or "waste", as provided in Section 11-1 of the City
18 Code, be collected by the City for such charge the City Manager or other officer
of Contracting Party so authorized by the City Council may determine to be fair
19 and ,pro er in each individual case.
(f� For new construction sites; $14. 75 for a three cubic yard bin contain-
20 er for the first week on the site and $7_ 75 for each additional pick up after
the first one, with a minimum of $14. 75,charge- per site and 'a minimum of $7. 75
21' a week after the first week for one pick up per week.
3. This Rates resolution shall become effective for the trash and refuse `
22 billing period first commencing after December 15, 1978.
23 4. The City Council does so resolve pursuant to the authority vested in i-
by the provisions of Section 11-18 of the City Code of said City.
24 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 13th day of November 1978. -
