2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY , ESTABLISHING
3 RATES FOR THE COLLECTION OF 'GARBAGE AND RUBBISH
COLLECTED WITHIN OR BY THE SAID CITY OF SAN JACINTO

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,-A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY,
5 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 1 . This resolution supersedes Resolution No. 1187, adopted November 22,
1977, and all other prior resolutions consistent herewith.

2. For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish collected as provided
8 in Article 11 of the Code of the City of •San Jacinto. there shall be assessed and
charged:

(a) For the owner or occupant of residences: $2.85 per month.
la (b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings each having kitchen
facilities: $2.85 per month for the first unit and $2.35 per month for each ad
11 ditional unit regardless whether occupied or not.
(c) For the owner operator of any 66mmercial establishment except as set
12 forth in subparagraph (d) below: The rate of $1 . l�er cubic yard of volume of
the rubbish and trash containers maintained at each establishment; provided, ;how-
13 ever, that in no event shall the fee be less than $4.05 per month.
(d) Mobilehome parks having refuse picked up it each space but the fees are
14 billed to and paid by the operator shall be charged on the same basis as ' apart-
ment houses, subparagraph (b) above. All spaces shall be charged whether or;not
15 occupied. Other mobilehome parks shall be charged the commercial rate if refuse
is collected at central locations or the residential rates of individual collec-
16 tions and individual billing and payment.
(c) The City Council may provide that rubbish not included within the defi--
17 nition of either "garbage" or "waste" , as provided in Section 11-1 of the City
Code, be collected by the City for such charge the City Manager or other officer
18 of Contracting Party so authorized by the City Council may determine to be fair
and proper in each individual case.
19 (f) For new construction sites: $14.00 for a three cubic yard bin con-
tainer for the first week on the site and $7_OO for each additional pick; up after
2C the first one, with a minimum of $14.00'charge per site and a minimum of'$7.Do
a week after the first week for one pick; up per week.
- 21 3. This Rates resolution shall become effective for:the trash and refuse.

billing period first commencing after October 15, 1978. .
4. The City Council does so resolve pursuant to the authority vested in it
23 by the provisions of Section 11-18 of the City Code of said City.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting of the City
24 Council duly held on the 17th day of October 1978.
