RESOLUTION NO. 1221
2 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT A MAJORITY PRO-
TEST WAS NOT MADE TO THE PRODPOSED ANNEXATION
3 OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED
"ANNEXATION NO. 28 TO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO.

5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO in regular session
6 duly held this 6th day of __ June 1978_
7 1 . That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Ter-
ritory Act of 1939, a public hearing was duly held before this Council on this
8 date at 7:30 p_Tn. after notice thereof was duly published thereof as required by
law by two weekly publications of Resolution No.1214 in the San Jacinto Valley
9 Register and in the Daily Enterprise and written notice of said hearing was duly
mailed to each owner of land in the territory hereinafter described as required
10 by the provisions of Section 35311 of the Government Code, State of California .
11 2. Said public hearing was closed prior to the adoption of this resolution
12 3. That the Council finds that the owners of one-half of the value of the
territory hereinafter described did not file written protests Prior to the final
13 adjournment of the said public hearing to the proposed annexation of uninhabited
territory designated "ANNEXATION NO. 2811 , and the Council determines pursuant
14 to the provisions of Section 35313.2 of the Government Code, State of California
that a majority protest to said proposed annexation has not been made.

4. The territory of the Proposed annexation, designated "A"''NEXATION NO. 28"
16 is described as all that certain territory situated in the County of Riverside ,
State of California , more particularly described in "Exhibit A" which is at-
17 tached hereto and made a part hereof.
18 ADOPTED this 6th day of June 1978 by the following vote:'
19 AYES: Councilmen Ver Plank, Stevens , Hazeltine, Brooks and Wilson.
20 NOES : None
21 ABSENT: None

ANNEXATION NO. 28
TO THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO
That portion of Farm Lot 102 of the lands of the San Jacinto Land
Association as shown by Map on file in Book 8 of Maps , Page 357, Records of
San Diego County, California, being more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Farm Lot 102, said Northwest
corner being also a point on the Easterly line of Annexation No. 18 to the
City of San Jacinto;
Thence Easterly along the North line of said Farm Lot 102 a distance of
1320 feet, more or less , to the Northeast corner of said Farm Lot 102, said
Northeast corner being also a point on the center line of San Jacinto Street;
Thence Southerly along said center line of San Jacinto Street a distance
of 660 feet;
Thence Westerly, parallel with the North line of said Farm Lot 102, a
distance of 1320 feet, more or less, to the Westerly line of said Farm Lot 102;
Thence Northerly along said West line of said Farm lot 102, being also
along the Easterly boundary line of Annexation No. 18 to the City of San Jacinto,
a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
Containing 20 acres, more or less.
