2 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT A, MAJORITY PRO-
TEST WAS NOT MADE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
3 OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED
"ANNEXATION NO. 21 TO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO in regular session
6 duly held this 7Lh___lay of February 1978.
7 1 . That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Ter- I
ritory Act of 1939, a public hearina was duly held before this Council on this
8 date at 7:30 p.m. after notice thereof was duly published thereof as required by
law by two weekly publications of Resolution No . 21 in the San Jacinto Valley
9 Register and in the Dailv Enterprise and written notice of said hearing was duly
railed to each owner of land in the territory hereinafter described as required
10 by the provisions of Section 35311 of the Government Code, State of California.
11 2. Said public hearing was closed prior to the adoption of this resolution
12 3. That the Council finds that the owners of one-half of the value of the �
territory hereinafter described did not file written protests prior to the final
1.3 ! adjournment of the said public hearing to the proposed annexation of uninhabited !
territory designated "ANNEXATION NO. 21°' , and the Council determines pursuant
In ito the provisions of Section 35313.2 of the Government Code , State of California )
that a majority protest to said proposed annexation has not been made .

4. The territory of the proposed annexation , designated "ANNEXATION N0.21 "
16 is described as all that certain territory situated in the County of Riverside,
State of California , more particularly described in "Exhibit A" which is at
17 1tached hereto and made a part hereof.

18 ADOPTED this 7th day of February 1978 by the following vote :
19 AYES: Councilmen Brooks, Hazeltine, Ver Plank and Wilson.
20 NOES: None
21 ABSENT: Councilman Stevens.

to the City of San Jacinto
The South 1/2 of Lot 64 and Lots 66, 70, 71 , 72, 76, 77, 78, 82 , 83, 84, 88,
89, 90, 96, 97, 98, 99 and 100 of the Map "of the Estudillo Land and Water Company's
Addition to San Jacinto on file in Book 9 of Maps, Page 410, Records of San Diego
County, California, and a portion of State Street, a portion of Esplanade Avenue and
a portion of the right-of-way of the Atchison, Topika and Santa Fe Railroad, also -
being in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township 4 South Range 1 West, San Ber-
nardino Base and Meridian described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of State Street (88 feet wide) and
Esplanade Avenue (60 feet wide) ;
Thence S 89' 56' 59" E, along the centerline of said Esplanade Avenue 674. 0
feet, more or less, to the easterly right-of-way line of the Atchison, Topika, and
Santa Fe Railroad (60 feet wide) ;
Thence N 0' 12' 40" E, along the said easterly right-of-way line of the
Atchison, Topika, and Santa Fe Railroad, a distance of 1 ,804.0 feet, more or less,
(a portion of which, 660 feet more or less, being the present boundary line of the
City of San Jacinto) to the intersection with the easterly prolongation of the
northerly line of lot 66 of the said Map of the Estudillo Land and Water Company's
addition to San Jacinto;
Thence N 89' 56' 59" W, along the said easterly prolongation of the northerly line
of said lot 66, along the. northerly line of said lot 66, and along the westerly
prolongation of the said northerly line of said lot 66, a distance of 674.0 feet,
more or less, to a point of intersection in the centerline of State Street;
Thence S 00 12' 40" W, along the said centerline of State Street, a distance
of 1 ,804.0 feet, more or less , to the point of beginning.
