2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO ESTABLISHING A PROJECT AREA
3 COMMITTEE FOR THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AREA AND APPOINTING MEMBERS THERETO

5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto adopted Resolution No.
6 1457 on October 7th, 1982, designating a redevelopment survey area to be studied
-7 for the purpose of determining the feasibility of establishing a redevelopment
8 project area(s) and redevelopment plan(s) in the City of San Jacinto; and
9 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto at their meet-
10 ing of December 7th 1982, adopted Planning Commission Resolution No. 82-29 ap-
11 proving, adopting and establishing boundaries of the San Jacinto Redevelopment
12 Project Area; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto welcomes and desires
14 the participation of the residents, businessmen, property owners and community
15 organizations in the preparation of any redevelopment plan(s) which may>herein'-
16 after affect the City; and
17 WHEREAS, this City Council determined that the establishment of a single
18 Project Area Committee consisting of residents, businessmen, property owners
19 and community organizations would provide the desired community participation
_20 in accordance withSection 33385 et. seq. of the California Health and Safety
21 Code; and
22 % WHEREAS, it is the City Council 's direction to the Project Area Committee
-23 that their purpose shall be as follows:
24 1 ) To review, comment;and participate in the initial formulation of the
25 preliminary and final redevelopmentplan for the Son Jacinto Redevelop
2s ment Project Area;
27 2) To consult with an advise the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency on mat
28 ters , concerning policies which deal with the planning and provision of
29 residential facilities or replacement housing for those persons dis
30 placed l�
laced b redevelopment project activities .
31 3) "To consult with the Redevelopment Agency on other policy matters which
32 affect the residents of the Project Area.
