l RESOLUTION NO. 1453
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
3 ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX 'CERTAIN
INHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 45.

WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the _City of
5 San Jacinto; and
6 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto desires to apply for Annexation No. 45
pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act, Part 2, Division
7 - 2 of Title 4 of the Government Code; and
8 WHEREAS, the nature of the proposed change,of organization is an
annexation to the City of San Jacinto; and

WHEREAS, the proposed boundaries of the affected territory are des
10 cribed in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made apart hereof, and
11 WHEREAS, annexation to the City; of San Jacinto will contribute to the
orderly growth of the City, provide proper control of street layouts, sani
12 tary sewer and water design and to insure proper use of land in
with the General Plan

NOW, :THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED as follows:

1 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate
15 on its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto
all the territory hereinafter described on Exhibit "A" as in-
16 habited territory pursuant ;to the provisions of the Municipal
Organization Act.

2. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be
-1g identified as Annexation No. 45
19 3. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby
authorized to file with the Local; Agency Formation Commission the
20 appropriate application and sign any and all documents therefor.
21 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 21st day of September 1982.
