1 RESOLUTION NO. 1441
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO REQUESTING PARTICIPATION IN RIVERSIDE
3 COUNTY BID AWARD 82-6282 TO UNION OIL COMPANY
4 WHEREAS, Union Oil Company was awarded Bid 82-6282 by the Riverside County
5 Board of Supervisors for the purchase of lubricating oils and greases from
6 July 1 , 1982 through June 30, 1983; and
7 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto wishes to participate in the purchase of
8 lubricating oils and greases under this award;
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
10 1 . Will make all purchases in its own name for public use only.
11 2. Will be responsible for payment directly to the vendor and for tax
12 liability and will hold the County harmless therefrom.
13 3. Has not and will not have in force any contract for like purchases .
14 4. Has not obtained and does not have under consideration written bids
15 or quotations from other vendors for like purchases.
16 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July 1982.
