1 RESOLUTION NO. 1436
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING
THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION
OF NINTH STREET BETWEEN GILBERT AND GRAND

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California, having
5 expressed its intention to vacate and abandon the public right-of-way over the
6 property shown on attached Exhibit A; and
7 WHEREAS, a public hearing, as required by law, was conducted by the City
8 Council on the 18th day of May 1982; and
9 WHEREAS, all notices and posting, as required by law of said vacation have
10 been posted and given; and
11 WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of San Jacinto to vacate the here-
12 in described property'to property owner(s) of record; and
13 WHEREAS, all objections of any thereto having been heard and considered,
14i and its having found that the City has no present or prospective use for said
15 public right-of-way;
16 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
17 1 . That the proposed vacation outlined on Exhibit A is not within
18 an area for which a General or Master Plan is adopted.
19 2. That the public right of way over the property described in
Exhibit A be vacated and abandoned.
20 3. That the City reserves for itself and all other public utili-
21 ties a public utility easement and the right at any time to
construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew upon,
22 over and across the needed appropriate facilities .
3 4. The effective date of this vacation shall be May 18, 1982.
24 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 1982.
