1 RESOLUTION NO. 1419
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENTS
3 TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE HEMET-SAN JACINTO
AREA PLAN FOR THE THIRD CYCLE OF CALENDAR YEAR 1981
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides that no mandatory
6 I element of a General Plan shall be amended more frequently than three times dur-
ing any calendar year, and that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto is
7 amending the Land Use Element of the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan for the third
time during the 1981 calendar year; and
8 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto Planning Commission held public hearings
9 ( on change to the Land Use Element on October 5, 1981 on GPA-2-82 and did adopt
Resolution No. 82-8, on November 2, 1981 , on GPA-1-82 and did adopt Resolution
3_011 No. 82-9; and on December 7, 1981 , on GPA-3-82 and did adopt Resolution No. '82-11
making recommendations to the _Ci.ty Council concerning the General Plan Amendments
11 and has filed with the City Council copies of'ma_ps and reports relating to the
applications; and
12' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto held a public hearing
13 on December 22, 1981 , and did make a- determination that the Land Use Element of
the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan should be amended as follows :
141 A. Existing land use patterns will be enhanced by GPA-2-82 being assigned
medium density residential , up to 40 units per acre; by GPA-1-82 being
15 1,i assigned General Commercial and Low-medium residential density designa-
16 '' tions and GPA-3-82 being assigned General Commercial and Low-medium
density designations .
17 ' B. GPA-2-82, GPA-1-82 and GPA-3-82 will enhance the logical development

18 j of the City.
19 C. GPA-2-82, GPA-1 -82 and GPA-3-82 allow reasonable and proper use of
property in the vicinity of those amendments.

2011 D. No significant environmental impact is expected from adoption of
21 j GPA-2-82, GPA-1 -82 or GPA-3-82.
22i WHEREAS, advertisement for public hearing on GPA-2-82, GPA-1-82 and
GPA 3-82 was published in accordance with Article G, Chapter 3, of Title 7, of
23 the Government Code; and
J' WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will not be a significant im-
24 " pact upon the environment by right of these changes and adopts a Negative De-
2 5l claration for General Plan Amendments GPA-2-82, GPA-1-82 and GPA-3-82.
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto that the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan be amended to reflect the changes
27 ' aforementioned for GPA-2-82, GPA-1-82 and GPA-3-82.
28 '' MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 5th day of January 1982 .
