2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
3 ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 43
4 WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the City of San Jacinto;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will contribute to the or-
7 derly growth of the City, provide proper ro er control of street layouts , drainage,
8
sanitary sewer and water design and to insure proper use of the land in conform-
9 ity with the General Plan;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
11 1 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate on
12 its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory
13 hereinafter described on Exhibit A as uninhabited territory pursuant to the pro-
14 visions of the Municipal Organization Act.
15 2. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be iden-
1 6 tified as Annexation No. 43
17 3. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby auth-
18 orized to file with the Local Agency Formation Commission the appropriate appli-
19 cation and sign any and all documents therefor.
20 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 17th day of November 1981
