2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING PARTICIPATION
3 WITH RIVERSIDE COUNTY FOR THE PURCHASE OF LUBRI-
CATING OILS AND GREASES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1981-82

BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Jacinto requests participation in Award
5
81/5801 to Union Oil Company by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for the

purchase of lubricating oils and greases from July 1 , 1981 through June 30, 1982 .

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
8
approves the following terms and conditions relating to participation in the
9
County contract for lubricating oils and greases:

1 . Will make all purchases in its own name, for public use only.
11
2. Will be responsible for payment directly to the vendor and
121 for tax liability and will hold the County harmless therefrom.
13 3. Has not and will not have in force any other contract for
like purchases .
14
4. Has not obtained and does not have under consideration writ-
151 ten bids or quotations from other vendors for like purchases.
161 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council this

17 3rd day of November 1981 , by the following vote:
18 AYES: Councilmen Visser, Rose, Stevens, Divine and Hazeltine
19 NOES: None
20 ABSENT: None
