RESOLUTION NO. 1404
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO
3 THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TER-
RITORY HE`?EINAFTER DESCRIBED AND DESIGNATINR THE
¢ SAME AS CITY OF SAN JACINTO ANNEXATION NO. 37
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 Section 1 . That it does hereby find and declare as follows:
7 A. That an application for approval of a proposal for the initiation
$ j of proceedings for the annexation of territory hereinafter identified and de-
9 scribed as Annexation No. 37 to the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside,
10 '' State of California, was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission,
Reference No. 80-74-3.
12 B. That the said Local Agency Formation Commission, after a hearing
13 held in the manner required by law, the application for annexation of the ter-
14 ritory hereinafter described by metes and bounds to the City of San Jacinto.
15 C. That said annexation was approved in accordance with law and further
16 provided that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto was authorized to
17 annex said territory without notice and hearing by said Council .

1 g D. That a written petition containing the required signatures and a de-
1 9 , scription of the uninhabited territory hereinafter described has been presented
20 to the City Council of the City of San Jacinto requesting annexation under the
Municipal Organization Act of 197B, as amended.
22 E. That said petition has been signed or consent hereto has been filed
23 by the owners of the land in the territory proposed to be annexed.
24 Section 2. That said petition contains a description of certain unin-

25 habited territory sought to be included and annexed to the City of San Jacinto
26 :; and that said petition is signed by the owners of all the land in the territory
27 ! by area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of
2 8i the County of Riverside in which County the City of San Jacinto is situated.
291 Section 3. That the City Council hereby declares that said petition has
3 0 `i been signed or consent to the proposed annexation filed by the owners of all
3 1 �; the land in the territory proposed to be annexed, and, therefore, no protests
may be filed against the annexation by persons owning property in the territory.

1 Section 4. That the City Council hereby declares that pursuant to authori
2 zation from the Riverside County Local Agency Formation Commission and pursuant
3 to Government Code, Resolution No. 1403 has been adopted declaring that no major
4 ity protest has been made with respect to Annexation No. 37,
5 Section 5. That the territory proposed to be annexed to the City is un-
6 inhabited territory as defined by the Government Code and is contiguous to the
q boundaries of the City.
g' . Section 6 . That the aforementioned uninhabited territory included in the
g proposed annexation is hereby designated and hereafter shall be known as Annexa-
10 ti on No. 37.
11 Section 7. That upon the completion of said annexation all of the property
1211' included therein shall be taxed according to the terms and conditions which are
13 ' presently imposed on similar annexations to the City of San Jacinto and as may
14 j be authorized by law.
15 Section 8. That it does hereby approve the annexation to the City of San
16 Jacinto of that certain real property located in the County of Riverside, State
17 of California, designated as Annexation No, 37, and more particularly described
18 as set forth in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
19 Section 9. That the City Clerk is directed to prepare a certified copy of
20 this Resolution giving the date of its adoption and transmit it to the Secre-
21 tary of State.
22 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council held
23 ( the 8th day of September 1981 by the following vote:
24 AYES: Councilmen Visser, Rose, Stevens, Divine and Hazeltine.
25 NOES: None
25 ABSENT: None

r LEGAL DESCRIPTION
Being Farm Lot 80, and the North Half of Farm Lot 82 of the lands
of the San Jacinto Land Association, as shown by map on file in
book 8, page 357 of maps , San Diego Countv Records , being also a part
of section 2, T5S , R1W, of the Rancho San Jacinto Viejo described as
follows:
Beginning at a point described as the centerline intersection of San
Jacinto Street (60. 00 feet wide) and Commonwealth Avenue (110 - 00
feet wide) .
Thence S 000 00 ' 00" along the centerline of 'Ean Jacinto Street
a distance of. 960- 1.9 feet.
-Thence N 890 59 ' 30" E. along the south line of the north one half
of said Lot 82 a distance of 1322. 3 feet.
Thence N 00 02 ' 34" W. along the east line of ,lots 82 and 00 . a distance
of 960. 19- feet to a point in the centerline of Commonwealth Avenue .
