1 RESOLUTION NO, 1403
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY PRO-
3 TEST HAS BEEN MADE WITH RESPECT TO ANNEXATION NO. 37
4 WHEREAS, a petition for Annexation No. 37 was duly and regularly filed
5 pursuant to the provisions of the California Government Code; and
6 WHEREAS, pursuant to authorization from Riverside County Local Agency
7 Formation Commission and pursuant to the Government Code, the City Council
g hereby declares that by submitting a petition request for annexation, the record
9 property owners of the City of San Jacinto Annexation No. 37 have waived all
10 protest rights; and
11 WHEREAS, the City may proceed with annexation action without notice or
12 hearing for protest pursuant to Resolution 24-81 of the Local Agency Formation
13 Commission;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
15 The City Council of the City of San Jacinto finds and does hereby declare
16 its findings to be that no majority protest has been made with respect to An-
17 nexation No. 37 and that the City Administrative officers are hereby directed
18 to proceed with Annexation No. 37 .
19 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September 1981 at a reoular. meet-
20 ing of said Council by the following vote:
21 AYES: Councilmen Visser, Rose, Stevens, Divine and Hazeltine
22 NOES: None
23 ABSENT: None
