2 A� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
3 1392 FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE RAISED FROM
PROPERTY TAXATION FOR DEBT SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
4 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1 , 1981 AND
FIX THE PROPERTY TAX RATE TO RAISE SUCH MONIES

. WHEREAS, the said Revenue and Taxation Code, Section 2237(a) , provides that
6 a City may only levy such property rates as may be necessary to cover annual debt
service requirements for bonds approved by the voters prior to July 1 , 1978; and,
7 WHEREAS, the amount of money required for the 1981 -82 fiscal year annual debt
8j service amounts to $32,700.00 for Municipal Improvement 1961 Waterwork Bond; and
WHEREAS, the Auditor of Riverside County has provided to the City of San
9 Jacinto a statement showing the total assessed valuation of all property within
10 the City ascertained from the assessment books of said County for the fiscal year
is equalized and corrected as follows:
11 Net taxable value $96,459,968
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
13 as follows:
14 Section 1 . That the amount of money to be raised by taxation upon the tax-
able property within the City of San Jacinto as cash revenues to cover the fiscal
15 year 1981-82 debt service requirements in accordance with the California Revenue
and Taxation Code, Section 2237(2) is hereby fixed at $32,700.00.
16 Section 2. That the rate of tax for the fiscal year beginning July 1 , 1981
for debt service requirements for the City of San Jacinto 1981 -82 fiscal year is
17 hereby fixed at 0.034 upon each $100 of the value of the property therein assesse .
18 Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
19 and shall cause the same to be published in the Valley Register, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the County of Riverside, State of
20 California, in the manner prescribed by law for the publishing of ordinances of
said City, and the same shall thereupon take effect as provided by law.
