1 RESOLUTION NO. 1397
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING INVEST-
3 MENT OF CITY FUNDS IN REGULAR SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
AUTHORIZED BY LAW FOR LOCAL PUBLIC AGENCIES

WHEREAS, the Government Code authorizes investment and reinvestment of City
5 funds the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California, does resolve as
follows:

Section 1 . That the Finance Director, the City Treasurer and the Mayor are
7 authorized to deposit funds and to withdraw funds from accounts in financial
institutions authorized by law.

Section 2. That the aforementioned officers are hereby authorized to exe-
9 cute the necessary agreements with depositors subject to bylaws, rules, regula-
tions and practices in force.

Section 3. Any of the aforementioned officers may execute the waiver of
11 any required security authorized by Government Code Section 53653 upon first get-
ting approval from the City's City Attorney.

Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
