1 RESOLUTION NO. 1394
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
3 ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
INHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 42.

WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the City of San Jacinto;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto desires to apply for Annexation No. 42 pur-
suant to the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act, Part 2, Division 2
7 of Title 4 of the Government Code; and
8 WHEREAS, the nature of the proposed change of organization is an .annexation
to the City of San Jacinto; and

WHEREAS the proposed boundaries of the affected territory are described in
lQ Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
11 WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will contribute to the order-
ly growth of the City, provide proper control of street layouts, sanitary sewer
12 and water design and to insure proper use of land in conformity with the General
Plan

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:

1 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate on
151 its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory
hereinafter described on Exhibit "A" as inhabited territory pursuant to the
16 1 provisions of the Municipal Organization Act.
17 2. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be identi-
1, fied as Annexation No. 42.

3. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby auth-
191 orized to file with the Local Agency Formation Commission the appropriate ap-
plication and sign any and all documents therefor4T-
