1 RESOLUTION NO. 1392
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE
3 RAISED FROM PROPERTY TAXATION FOR DEBT SERVICE REQUIRE-
MENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1 , 1981 ,
4 AND FIX THE PROPERTY TAX RATE TO RAISE SUCH MONIES
5 WHEREAS, the said Revenue and Taxation Code, Section 2237(a) , provides that
a City may only levy such property rates as may be necessary to cover annual debt
6 service requirements for bonds approved by the voters prior to July 1 , 1978;-and
7 WHEREAS, the amount of money required for the 1981-82 fiscal year annual debt

service amounts to $32,700.00 for Municipal Improvement 1961 Waterwork Bond; and
$ WHEREAS, the County Auditor of Riverside County has provided to the City of
9 San Jacinto a statement showing the total assessed valuation of all property
within the City ascertained from the assessment books of said County for the
10 1981-82 fiscal year is equalized and corrected as follows:
Net taxable value $88,029,001
12' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto as follows:
13 Section 1 . That the amount of money to be raised by taxation upon the tax-
14i able property within the City of San Jacinto as cash revenues to cover the fiscal
year 1981-82 debt service requirements in accordance with the California Revenue
l51 and Taxation Code, Section 2237(2) is hereby fixed at $32,700.00.
Section 2. That the rate of tax for the fiscal year beginning July 1 , 1981 ,
16 for debt service requirements for the City of San Jacinto 1981-82 fiscal year is
17 hereby fixed at .160 upon each $100 of the value of the property therein assessed.
18 Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and shall cause the same to be published in the Valley Register, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the County of Riverside, State of

1 California, in the manner prescribed by law for the publishing of ordinances of
201; said City, and the same shall thereupon take effect as provided by law.
21 , MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council
of the City of San Jacinto held the 21st day of July 1981 , by the following vote:
