2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A CITIZEN PARTICIPA-
TION PLAN FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS
4 The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development has recently
5 added a requirement that all grant recipients and cooperating agencies must have
6 a written citizen Participation Plan to encourage citizen participation; and
7 WHEREAS the City of San Jacinto is a cooperating agency with the County of
8 Riverside and a recipient of Community Development Block Grant Funds; and
9 WHEREAS a Citizen Participation Plan has been prepared for the City of
10 San Jacinto; and
11 WHEREAS said Citizen Participation Plan complies with the United States
12 Housing and Urban Development requirement;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Jacinto Citizen Participation
14 Plan dated June, 1981 , is hereby adopted.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of said Citizen Participation Plan be
16 transmitted to the County of Riverside Department of community Development.
17 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May 1981 .
