2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO FIXING PERMIT FEES AND OTHER COSTS AND PRO-
3 VIDING FOR SURETY BONDS OR INSURANCE PURSUANT TO
ORDINANCE NO. 701 - VEHICLE LOAD PERMIT ORDINANCE
4 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, County of
5 Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on March 17, 1981 ,
6 pursuant to Section 15 of Ordinance No. 701 as follows:
7 The following permit issuance fees are established for Section 16 as follows:
8 1 . Single trips (not over 12 feet in width and not a building) $5.00
9 Blanket (not over 12 feet in width and not a building) $25.00 plus
10 fifty (50) cents per copy.
11 - 2. Single trip (12 to 16 feet in width and not a building) $101.00
12 3. All buildings and structures and loads not covered above are here-
by classified as follows:
13 a) Class "A" is any building or structure or any portion thereof
14 which is moved on a motor truck or other vehicle propelled by
its own power.
151 b) Class "B" is any building or structure or any portion thereof,
16 not of Class "A" which is not more than 16 feet in width.
17 c) Class "C" is any load or any portion thereof, not of Class "A",
which is more than 16 feet and not more than 22 feet in width.
18 d) Class "D" is any load or any portion thereof, not of Class "A" ,
19 which is more than 22 feet and not more than 28 feet in width.
2a e. Class "'E" is any load or any portion thereof, not of Class "A" ,
which is more than 23 feet and not more than 40 feet in width.
21 f) Class "F" is any load or any portion thereof, not of Class "A",
22 which is more than 40 feet in width.
25 4. Fees for the above:
24 a) $10.00 for a Class "A" permit
25 b) $25.00 for a Class "B" permit
25 c) $50.00 for a Class "C" permit
27 d) $100.00 for a Class "D" permit
28 e) $250.00 for a Class "E" permit.
29 f) $300.00 for a Class 7" permit.
30 5. Whenever the permit issuance fee is pursuant to Section l and 2 abbve,
31 the Director of Public Works shall require of the permittee a corporate surety

bond in the amount of $25,000.00 the condition of which being that permittee shall
1 pay for all loss occasioned by his acts pursuant to the permit work for damage to
2 property or injury to persons, including wrongful or accidental death. In the
3 alternate said permittee shall furnish the Director of Public Works with a certi-
4 ficate of insurance showing insurance in the limits of $100,000.00/$300,000.00
5 for injury to persons and $25,000.00 for injury to property to which is attached
6 an executed oversized-overweight vehicle permit endorsement on a form approved by
7 the Director of Public Works .
8 6. In conjunction with the issuance of a permit issuance fee not covered
9 by Sections 1 and 2 above, the Director of Public Works shall require of the per-
10 mittee a corporate surety bond in the amount of $100,000.00 the condition of
11 which being that the permittee shall pay for all loss occasioned by his acts pur-
12 suant to the permit for damage to property or injury to persons, including wrong-
13 ful or accidental death. In the alternate said permittee shall furnish the
14 Director of Public Works with a certificate of insurance showing insurance in
15 the limits of $100,000.00/$300,000.00 for injury to persons and $100,000.00 for
16 injury to property to which is attached an executed oversized-overweight vehicle
17 permit endorsement on a form approved by the Director of Public Works.

18 7. Fees and costs other than the permit issuance fee shall be in accordance

19 with Section 19.

20 , 8. This resolution is effective June 1 , 1981 .
21 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the City Council of the
22 City of San Jacinto on March 17, 1981 .
