2 A RESOLUTION OF THE ,CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, REQUEST-
3 ING AMENDMENT OR REVISION OF ITS;SPHERE OF
INFLUENCE AND THAT OF THE SAN JACINTO VALLEY

WHEREAS Chapter 6.6, Article 1 , Section 54774 of the Government Code re-
5
quires the adoption of spheres of influence; and
WHEREAS spheres of influence shall be periodically revised and updated as
7
required by Section 54774 of the Government Code.

THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO RESOLVES THE

FOLLOWING:

Section 1 . The Local Agency Formation Commission is requested to amend/re
I1 vise the City of San Jacinto sphere of influence and that of the San Jacinto Val-
ley pursuant to Section 54774.1 of the Government Code.

Section 2. The Local Agency Formation Commission is requested to waive all
13 and any costs incurred pursuant to Section 54774.2 of the Government Code and
consider this request as a part of the,periodic review of spheres of 'influence
14 required by Section 54774 of the Government Code.
15 Section 3. That the Honorable Board of Supervisors be requested to indorse
and support the request for amendment/revision of the City's sphere of influence
16
Section 4. That a certified copy of this resolution be filed with the
17 Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commissiom and County Clerk of
Riverside County to be presented at the next regular meeting.
