2 A RESOLUTION, OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'SAN
JACINTO INITIATING PROCEEDINGS OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED
3 TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF 'SAN JACINTO, KNOWN AS ANNEXA-
TION NO. 33, AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
4 WHEREAS the City Council of the City of San Jacinto adopted Resolution No.
5 ` 1309 acknowledging receipt of the petition for annexation, consented to such an-
nexation and authorized the submittal of the appropriate application to the Local
6 Agency Formation Commission; and
7 WHEREAS the Local Agency Formation Commission designated the City of San
Jacinto as the conducting authority and authorized the annexation to proceed sub-
8 ject to the terms and conditions which proceedings imposed on ;similar annexations
to the City; and
9 WHEREAS the provisions of Section 35201 of the Government Code require a
10 public hearing be held on said annexation.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BENT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
12 1 . A public hearing shall be held in the Council Chambers at 209 East
Main Street, San Jacinto, California, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. on the 16th day
13 of December 1980 to determine whether or not the said Annexation No. 33 should
be ordered to change the boundaries of the City of San Jacinto.
14 2. The owners of the land within said Annexation No. 33 may file a written
15 protest to the proposed annexation with the City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto
at the City offices, 201 E. Main Street, or by mail to post office box 488,' San
16 Jacinto, California, at any time prior,to the conclusion of the public hearing
thereon.
17 3. The City Clerk shall cause notice to be published in the Valley
18 Register, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of San Jacinto, County
of Riverside, State of California, posted and mailed as required by law and
19 shall certify as required by law.
20 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 2nd day of December 1980 by the following
vote:
21 AYES: Councilmen Visser, Rose, Stevens, Divine and Hazeltine
22 NOES: None
23 ABSENT: None
