2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, ESTABLISHING
3 RATES FOR THE.COLLECTION OF ,GARBAGE AND RUBBISH
COLLECTED WITHIN OR BY THE SAID CITY OF SAN JACINTO

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

1. This resolutionsupersedes Resolution No. 1239, adopted November 13, 1978,
6 and all other prior resolutions consistent herewith.
q 2. For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish collected as provided in
Article ,ll of the Code of the City of San Jacinto, there shall be assessed and
g char ed:
(ga) For the owner or occupant of residences: $3:75 per month.
g (b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings each having kitchen
facilities: $3.75 per month for the first unitand $3.25 per month for each ad-
10 ditional unit regardless whether occupied or not.
(c)` For the owner or operator of any commercial establishment, except as set
11 forth in subparagraph (d) -below: The rate of $1 .70 per cubic yard of volume of
the rubbish and trash containers maintained at each establishment; provided how-
12 ever, that in no event shall the fee be less than' $4. 95 `per month. The minimum
charge for bin service shall be $18.85.
13 (d) Mobilehome parks having refuse picked up at each space but the fees are
billed to and paid by the operator shall be charged on the same basis as sub`-
14' paragraph (a) above.
Other mobilehome parks shall be charged the commercial rate if refuse is
13 collected at central locations or the residential rates of individual collections
and individual billing and payment.
16 (e) The City Council may provide that rubbish not included within the defin-
'ition of either "garbage" or "waste" , as provided in Section 11-1 of the City
1,7 Code, be collected by the, City for such charge the City Manager or other officer
of Contracting Party so authorized by the City Council may determine to be fair
and proper in each individual case.
18 ( (f) For new construction sites: $16.00 for a three cubic yard bin contain-
er for the first week on the site and $9.00 for each additional pick up after the
first one, with a minimum of $16.00 charge per site and a minimum of $9.00 a week
20 after the first week for one pick up per week.
21 3. This Rates Resolution shall become effective for the trash and, refuse
billing period first commencing after October 21st, 1980.
22 4. The City Council does so resolve pursuant to the authority vested in it
23 by the provisions of Section 11-18 of the City Code of said City.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council held the
24 t 7th day of October 1980.
