2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF-SAN JACINTO
3 COMMENDING AMY MURRAY FOR HER SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY
4 WHEREAS , Amy Murray, a dedicated public leader, has given unstintingly of
5 her time in the furtherance of good will in the San Jacinto Valley; and
6 WHEREAS , Amy Murray through leadership and knowledge started the first
7 girl scout troop and cub scout troop in the City of San Jacinto; and
8 WHEREAS , through her inspiration and courage art shows by local artists
9 now is a part of life in the San Jacinto Valley; and
10 WHEREAS , Amy Murray served as an outstanding curator of the San Jacinto
11 Museum; and
12 WHEREAS, 'Amy Murray is committed to keep San Jacinto a better community
13 for the betterment of citizens of all ages; and
14 WHEREAS, Amy Murray provided outstanding leadership and inspiration to
15 the Parks and Recreation Committee from 1959 to 1980.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on behalf of the citizens of San
1,1 Jacinto and the San Jacinto Valley we, the City Council of said City thank
i8 Amy Murray for all that she has done and accomplished by 'appointing her an
19 honorary member of the City of San Jacinto Parks and Recreation Committee;
20 FURTHERMORE, the City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto is hereby directed
21jj to prepare a copy of Resolution No. 1344 to be signed by the San Jacinto City
221 Council and suitably framed for presentation.
