A' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENT TO SELF-INSURE FOR THE
3 "WORKERS" COMPENSATION RISK OF THE CITY, OF SAN JACINTO
AND SO NOTIFY THE STATE COMPENSATION INSURANCE FUND

5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto has carefully review-
6 ed all information and benefits concerning a program of self-insurance for the
7 Workers ' Compensation Risk of the City of San Jacinto; and
g WHEREAS, it is determined to be the best interest for financial savings
9 and other benefits to concern a program of self-insurance; and
10 WHEREAS, at present this coverage to the City of San Jacinto is through
11 the State Compensation Insurance Fund,
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDby the City Council of the City of San
13 Jacinto that the City Manager or his designated agent is hereby authorized to
14 inform the State Compensation Insurance Fund of the City's "intent to implement
15 a program of self-insurance for Workers' Compensation,Risk and the cancellation
16 i of the present policy.
17 PASSED, ,APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular adjourned meeting of the City
18 Council of the City of San Jacinto held on the-24th day of June 1980, by the
19 following vote, to wit:
20 i AYES: Councilmen Rose, Divine, Stevens , Visser and Hazeltine
21 NOES: None
22 ABSENT: None
