A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT "A MAJORITY PROTEST
2 WAS NOT MADE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "ANNEXATION NO. 30
3 TO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO in regular
5 session duly held this 9th day of April 1980:
1 . That, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Organization

Act of 1977, a public hearing was duly held before this Council on this
date at 7: 30 p.m. after notice thereof was duly published thereof as
7 required by law by one publication of Resolution No. 1295 in the San
Jacinto Valley Register and written notice of said hearing was duly mailed
to each owner of land in the territory hereinafter described as required
9 by the provisions of Section 35223 of the Government Code, State of
California.
10 i 2 Said public hearing was closed prior to the adoption of this
� 1 resolution.
I 3. That the Council finds that the owners of one-half of the value
12 of the territory hereinafter described .did not file written protests prior

15 to the final adjournment of the said public hearing the proposed
annexation of uninhabited territory designated"ANNEXATION NO . 30
la and the Council determines pursuant to the provisions of Sections 35227'
and 35229 of the Government Code, State of California, that a majority
15 i protest to said proposed annexation has not been made.

4. The territory of the proposed annexation, designated ANNEXATION
I; N0. 30 is described as all that certain territory situated in the County
17 '' of Riverside, State of California , more particularly described in
"Exhibit A" which is attached hereto and made_a part hereof.

Annexation No. 30
Legal Desxription :
Being an annexation of a portion of Farm Lot 154 ofthe
lands of the San Jacinto Land Association, as shown by Map '
on file in Book 8, Page 357 of Maps, Records of San Diego
County. Also being a portion of the Northwest one-quarter
of Section 34 , Township 4 South, Range 1 West, San Bernardino ,
Base and Meridian and more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 154 ,
said corner being the centerline intersection of Elizabeth
Street, 60 feet wide with Seventh Street, 60 feet wide;
Thence North along the centerline of Elizabeth Avenue
and West line of said Lot 154 , a distance of 660. 03 feet, to
the True Point of Beginning;
Thence continuing North along said West line and center—
line a~distance of 659 . 97 feet to a -line parallel with the
North line of said Lot 154 , said parallel line being on the
existing limits of the City of San Jacinto;
Thence East along said parallel line and said City
Limits , a distance of 1 , 332 feet more or less to the East
line of said Lot 154 , said -East line; being on the centerline
of Grand Avenue, 60 feet wide;
Thence South 44'59 ' 33" West along said East line and
_ centerline a -distance of 930 feet more or less to a point of
angle in said East line;
Thence West parallel with the North line of said Lot
154 , a distance of 673 feet more or less to the Point of
Beginning _
Acreage : 15 . 20 Acres , More or Less .
