2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
3 ON ITS ,OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO: 48

5 WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the City of San
Jacinto; and

tJHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto desiresto apply for Annexation No. 48
pursuant.to the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act, Part 2, Division
2 of Title 4 of the government Code; and

'.JHEREAS, the nature of the proposed change of organization an `annexa-
9 tion to the City of San Jacinto; and
10 WHEREAS, the proposedboundaries of the affected territory are described
in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and

WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will contribute to the
12 orderly growth of the City, provide proper control of street layouts , sanitary
sewer and water design and to insure proper use of land in conformity with the
13 General Plan.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows :
115 1 . The City,Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate
on its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto
16 all the territory hereinafter described on Exhibit "A" as unin-
habited territory pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
17 Organization Act.
18 2, That the 'territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be
identified as Anenxation No. <48;

3. That the City "anager, or his designated representative, is hereby
20 authorized to file with the Local Agency,Formation Commission the
appropriate application and sign any and all documents therefor.

MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 3rd day of January 984.
