1 RESOLUTION NO. 1510
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAN JACINTO
TO AUTHORIZE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A UNIFORM SUB-
3 DIVISION IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM.
4 WHEREAS, there exists an urgent need to end the proliferation of
unapproved subdivision directional signs in the City of San Jacinto; and

WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 763 thereby es-
6 tablishing provisions for creation of a comprehensive City-wide sign
program for subdivision identification; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has requested authorization to ad-
8 minister and provide such a subdivision identification program; and
9 WHEREAS, the developers have shown interest to financially support
this program;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
11 of San Jacinto, does hereby authorize the Planning Department to administer
and coordinate said sign program in the City of San Jacinto; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department shall approve
13 sign locations and the sign programs , and will consult the Public Works
Department and Building & Safety Department and such other appropriate
14 agencies as may be required to review said sign program prior to approval ;
and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department is authorized
16 to collect the fees necessary to make this program self-supporting.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council at its discretion may "
review the overall sign program and cause any changes it sees fit to be
18 made to ensure the continued provision or removal of said subdivision
identification program.

The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and
20 shall cause the same to be published in the Valley Register, a newspaper
of general circulation printed and published in the County of Riverside
21 in the manner prescribed by law.
