HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1559 / U J 1 RESOLUTION NO. 1559 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE 31 VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE NORTH OF ESPLANADE AVENUE AND 4 SOUTH OF THE llth STREET FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL 5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California, having G expressed its intention to vacate and abandon the public right-of-way over the 7 property shown on attached Exhibit "A" ; and 8 WHEREAS, a public hearing, as required by law, was conducted by the City 9 Council on the 18th day of December 1984; and 10 WHEREAS, all notices and posting, as required by law of said vacation, 11 have been posted and given; and 12 WHEREAS, it is the City of San Jacinto's intention to vacate the herein 13 described property to property owner(s) of record; and 14 WHEREAS, all objections of any thereto having been heard and considered, 15 and it having been found that the City has no present or prospective use for 16 said public right-of-way; 17 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: 18 1 . That the proposed vacation outlined on Exhibit "A" is not with- in an area for which a General or Master Plan is adopted. 19 2. That the public right-of-way over the property described in 201i Exhibit "A" be vacated and abandoned. 21 3. The City Council declares that no majority protest has been 2 made with respect to Annexation No. 49, and the territory 3 is hereby ordered annexed to the City of San Jacinto. 4 4. The territory referred to herein is described as set forth 5 in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and made a part 6 hereof. 7 5.
