1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENT TO
2 THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE HEMET-SAN JACINTO AREA
PLAN FOR THE SECOND CYCLE OF CALENDAR YEAR 1984
3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
4 WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides that no mandatory
element of a General Plan shall be amended more frequently than four times
5 during any calendar year, and that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
is amending the Land Use Element of the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan for the
6 second time during the 1984 calendar year; and
7 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto Planning Commission held a public hearing
on change to the Land Use Element on October 1 , 1984 and did adopt Resolution
8 No. 84-9 and making recommendations to the City Council concerning the General
Plan Amendment and has filed with the City Council copies of map and report
9 relating to the application; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto held a public hearing
on October 16, 1984, and made a determination that the Land Use Element on the
11 Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan should be amended as follows:
12 A. Existing land use patterns will be enhanced by GPA-3-84 being
assigned low-medium and medium density.

B. GPA-3-84 will enhance the logical development of the City.

C. GPA-3-84 allows reasonable and proper use of property in the
15 vicinity of the amendment.
16 D. No significant environmental impact is expected from adoption
of GPA-3-84.

WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on GPA-3-84 was published in
18 accordance with Article 6, Chapter 3, of Title 7, of the Government Code; and
19 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will not be a significant impact
upon the environment by right of this change and adopts a Negative Declaration
20 for General Plan Amendment 3-84.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacin-
to that the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan be amended to reflect the change afore-
22 mentioned for General Plan Amendment 3-84 as noted by Exhibit "A" attached.
23 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 16th day o October 1984.
