2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
3 ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 48

WHEREAS, same property owners desire annexation to the City of San
5 Jacinto; and
6 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto desires to apply for Annexation No.
48 pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act, Part 2,
7 Division 2 of Title 4 of the Government Code: and
8 WHEREAS, the nature of the proposed change of organization is an annexa-
tion to the City of San Jacinto; and

WHEREAS, the proposed boundaries of the affected territory are described
10 in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
11 WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will contribute to the
orderly growth of the City, provide proper control of street layouts, sanitary
12 sewer and water design and to insure proper use of land in conformity with the
General Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:

1 . The City c-uncilof the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate
15 on its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto
all the territory hereinafter described on Exhibit "A" as unin-
16 habited territory pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
Organization Act.

2. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be
18 identified as Annexation No. 48.
19 3. That the City Manager, or his designated representative, is hereb
authorized to file with the Local Agency Formation Commission the
20 appropriate application and sign any and all documents therefor.

1 5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to take the necessary steps to com-
2 plete this annexation as required by the Government Code.
3 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council held
4 the 2nd day of October lH4, by the following vote:

6 NOES: None
7 ABSENT: None
