2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
INHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 50

5 WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the City of San
6 Jacinto; and
7 WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will contribute to the
8 orderly growth of the City, provide proper control of street layouts, sanitary
9 sewer and water design and to insure proper use of land in conformity with the
10 General Plan.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
12 1 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate on
13 its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the terri-
14 tory hereinafter described on Exhibit "A" as inhabited territory pursuant to
15 the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act.
16 2. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be
17 identified as Annexation No. 50 (Soboba Springs) .
18 3. That the City Manager, or his designated representative, is hereby
19 authorized to file with the Local Agency Formation Commission the appropriate
20 application and sign any and all documents therefore.
