2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER
3 CERTAIN STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE OF ALL FIXTURES
AND APPURTENANCES AND THE FURNISHING OF ELECTRICAL
4 ENERGY THROUGHOUT THE DISTRICT: AND TO FURNISH LAND-
SCAPING MAINTENANCE OF THE LANDSCAPED AREAS IN SAID
5 DISTRICT AS SHOWN ON PLAN NO. 1984-85/1-4, FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 11 1984 AND APPOINTING A
8 TIME AND PLACE FOR HEAPING PROTESTS IN RELATION THERETO
7 SAN JACINTO LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
NO. 1984-85/1-4

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CLAIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
9 DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
10 Section 1 . That the public interest and convenience require , and that
it is the intention of the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California
11 to order certain street lighting and certain landscaping maintenance on and
along portions of streets, avenues, courts, places, drives and rights-of-way
12 within said District, all as shown on DIAGRAM AND PLAN NO. 1984-85/1-4 and
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 1984-85/1-4, on file in the office of the City Cleric, to be
13 maintained and that electric current to be furnished for lighting said fix-
tures and appurtenances for the fiscal year beginning July 1 , 1984.

All of the work and improvement above specified shall be done in accord-
15 ance with the specifications and plans therefor referred to in the report of
the City Manager dated May 25, 1984, on file in the office of the City Clerk
16 and which is hereby referred to and by this reference incorporated herein and
made a part hereof.

Section 2. To expedite the making of said improvement, the City Council
18 may at any time transfer into the San Jacinto Lighting and Landscaping 11ain-
tenance District No. 1984-85/1-4 Fund, out of any money in the General Fund,
19 such sums as it shall deem necessary, and the sums so transferred shall be
deemed a loan to such Fund, and shall be repaid out of the proceeds of the
2d assessments provided for in this resolution, and pursuant to the provisions of
Section 22657, "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972" , referred to herein.

1 shall be done under the provisions of the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of
1972" {now Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
2 State of California.
3 Section 6. That Tuesday, the 12th day of June 1984, at the hour of
7:30 p.m. of said day, be and the same is hereby appointed as the time, and
4 the Council Chamber in the City Hall at 209 East tiain Street in the City of
San Jacinto, California, hereby appointed as the place for hearing protests
5 in reference to said improvement.
6 Section 7. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized, designated and
directed to give notice of said hearing in time, form and manner as required
7 by law.
S Section 8. That the San Jacinto Valley Register, a newspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated within the County of Riverside, Cali-
9 fornia, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which said notice shall be
published.
10 Section 9. That this resolution shall take effect immediately, and the
11 City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, shall
cause the original of the same to be entered among the original resolutions of
12 the City Council of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and
adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said
13 City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
