2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
3 TO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE HEMET-SAN
JACINTO GENERAL PLAN FOR THE FIRST CYCLE OF 1984
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLO�,]S:
5 WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides that no mandatory
6 element of the General Plan shall be amended more frequently than four times
7 in any one calendar year and that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
8 is amending the circulation element of the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan for
9 the first time during calendar year 1984; and
10 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto Planning Commission held a public hear-
11 ing on January 3, 1984 and did adopt Resolution No. 84-3, making recommenda-
12 tions to the City Council concerning the General Plan amendment and has filed
13 with the City Council all documents pertaining to this proposal ; and
14 !IHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto held a public hear-
15 ing on February 21 , 1984, and made a determination that the Circulation Ele-
16 ment of the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan should be amended subject to the fol-
17 lowing findings:
18 A. Traffic circulation patterns will be enhanced by CIPA-1-84 reducing
19 the designation of De Anza Drive between Vain Street and the centerline
20 of Grand Avenue (abandoned) .
21 B. Impacts to properties fronting on portions of De Anza Drive affected
1 Declaration for CPA-1-84.
2 N01I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
3 Jacinto that the Hemet-San Jacinto Area reneral Plan Circulation Element be
4 amended to reflect the change noted by Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
5 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 20th day of 'larch 1924, by the city Council
6 of the City of San Jacinto by the following vote:
7 AYES : Councilmen Visser, Rose, Stevens and Divine
8 NOES ; None
9 ABSTAIN: None
10 ABSENT: Councilman Stuart
