2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING THE APPLI-
3 CATION FOR LEAK DETECTION GRANT PROGRAM
FUNDS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF 14ATER RESOURCE.

5 WHEREAS, in 1978, the voters authorized the clean water and water
6 conservation bond law.
7 WHEREAS, in 1981 , the Department of Water Resources received a
8 portion of these funds to conduct a program to reduce water system leakage.
9 WHEREAS , the program will provide grants for interested eligible
10 public agencies to conduct water audit and leak detection projects.
11 N014, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HEREBY:
12 1 . Approves the filing of an application for Leak Detection
13 Grant Program Funds.
14 2. Appoints the City Manager or whomever the City Manager
15 designates as an agent of the City to conduct all nego-
16 tiations , execute and submit all documents including but
17 not limited to applications, agreements, amendments, billing
18 statements , etc. which may be necessary for the completion
19 of the aforementioned project.
20 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of Jan 84.
