2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A RESOLUTION
3 OF THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RELATING
TO THE PROPOSED SOBOBA SPRINGS REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
4 AND PROJECT AREA; CONSENTING TO HOLD A JOINT
SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING THEREON BY THE AGENCY AND
5 THE CITY COUNCIL; SETTING A DATE FOR SUCH HEARING
AND PROVIDING; FOR THE GIVING OF NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency has prepared a proposed
7 Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelopment Project Area and trans -
mitted said documents to the Planning Commission for its report and recommend-
8 ation; and
9 'WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto has prepared a written report pursuant
to the Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, regarding environmental
10 impact of the proposed Redevelopment Plan; and
11 WHEREAS, the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelop-
ment Project Area and the draft Environmental Impact Report have been submit-
12 ted to the appropriate County and State agencies for review, comment and
report pursuant to the California Redevelopment Law and the California En-
13 vironmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended; and
14 WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Section 33355 and
33458 of the California Health and Safety Code) authorizes a joint public
15 hearing on the proposed Redevelopment Plan and Project Area with the consent
of the City Council of the City of San Jacinto and the San Jacinto Redevelop-
16 ment Agency; and
17 WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency on November 8, 1983,
adopted Resolution No. RDA-83-13 consenting to a joint special public hearing
18 with this City Council and has requested the City Council to consent to a
joint public hearing and set the time and place for same; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto has received from
24 the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency Resolution No. RDA-83-13, the proposed
Soboba Springs Redevelopment Plan and Project Area, the Environmental Impact
21 Report, and the Agency Section 33352 Report.
I b) Mail the notice of said joint public hearing to the last known
assessee of each parcel of land in the area designated in the
2 aforesaid redevelopment project plan at his last known address as
shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County of River-
s side; or to the owner of each parcel of land within such boundaries
as such ownership is shown on the records of said County recorded
4 thirty (30) days prior to the date the notice is published. Copies
of the notices shall also be mailed to the governing body of each
5 of the taxing agencies which levies taxes upon any property in the
Project Area designated in the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the
6 Soboba Springs Redevelopment Project Area.
7 Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto shall forthwith
transmit a copy of this Resolution to the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency and
8 the Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto.
9 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the CITY OF SAN
JACINTH on this 8th day of November 1983.
