2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
3 ON ITS 014N MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UN-
INHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 47.

5 WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the City of San
Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto desires to apply for Annexation No. 47
7 pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act , Part 2,
Division 2 of Title 4 of the Government Code; and

WHEREAS, the nature of the Proposed change of organization is an
9 annexation to the City of San Jacinto-, and
10 WHEREAS, the Proposed boundaries of the affected territory are des-
cribed in Exhibit �'A" , attached hereto and made a Part hereof; and

WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will contribute to the
12 orderly growth of the City, provide proper control of street layouts , sani-
tary sewer and water design and to insure proper use of land in conformity
13 with the General Plan
14 NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows :
15 1 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate
on its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto
16 all the territory hereinafter described on Exhibit "A" as in-
habited territory pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
17 Organization Act.
18 2. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be
identified as Annexation No. 47.

3. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby
20 authorized to file with the Local Agency Formation Commission the
21 appropriate application and sign any and all documents therefor.
