2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, ESTABLISHING
RATES FOR THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND RUBBISH
COLLECTED WITHIN OR BY THE SAID CITY OF SAN JACINTO

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
6 Section 1 . This resolution supersedes Resolution No. 1376, adopted
7 April 21 , 1981 , and all other prior resolutions consistent herewith.
Section 2. For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish collected
8 not less than twice during each calendar week, there shall be assessed and
charged:

(a) For the owner or occupant of residences: $5.35 per month.

(b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings each having
11 kitchen facilities: $5.35 per month for the first unit and $4.85
for each additional unit regardless whether Occupied or not.

(c) For the owner or operator of any commercial establishment, except
13 as set forth in sub-paragraph (d) below: The rate of $2.81 per
cubic yard of volume of the rubbish and trash containers maintained
14 at each establishment, provided, however, that in no event shall
the fee be less than $6.55 per month. The minimum charge for bin
15 service shall be $27.31 .
16 (d) Mobilehome parks having refuse picked up at each space but the fees
are billed to and paid by the operator shall be charged on the same
17 basis as sub-paragrph (a) above.
18 Other mobilehome parks shall be charged the commercial rate if
refuse is collected at central locations or the residential rates
19 of individual collections and individual billing and payment.
20 (e) The City Council may provide that rubbish not included within the
definition of either "garbage" or "waste", as provided in Section
21 11-1 of the City Code, be collected by the City for such charge by
1 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED by the said City Council at a regular meeting
2 held the 18th day of October 1983.
